Guten tag, football fans. How are you? Everything good I trust on this excellent early start to the tenth week coming straight outta Germany. The Olympiastadion in Berlin to be exact where at 9:30 AM EST and 2:30 PM GMT the mighty Indianapolis Colts (7-2) take on the Atlanta Falcons (3-5). The fifth game played on soil in Germany and the first in the capital city.

Here we go! And we have an exciting start after the Colts running back receives a short throw, gains 15 yards on the outside to the right then loses the ball … only for his offensive lineman to recover the fumble with the ball retrieval. Colts are in Falcons territory already.

And the drama keeps coming as the Colts go for it on 4th down. The risk doesn't work out as the wide receiver fails to catch a quick pass from the quarterback. On the play before the turnover on downs Jessie Bates put a huge hit on tight end Mo Alie-Cox. Atlanta's defense started strong as they attempt to end their three-game losing streak. Following that, Sauce Gardner makes his first appearance!

Touchdown Recap

TOUCHDOWN! Colts 6-0 Falcons 8:36, 1st quarter

Was that a missed touchdown by Kyle Pitts? The Falcons player makes a crucial error, he was wide open but the ball just swishes through his hands. That moment reflects the high draft pick's professional journey to date.

So far, so disappointing but it only deteriorates for the Atlanta as they cough the ball back to the Colts on the 23-yard line. Michael Penix Jr is hunted down and fumbles the football.

A nifty 22-yard run from the Colts receiver sets the running back up to easily run for a touchdown on the next snap. Kicker Michael Badgley misses the point after attempt. Oops.

Falcons respond: 6-7 at 6:07

The quarterback recovers from the turnover by leading Atlanta on a long drive for a touchdown. The wide receiver makes some chunky receptions to put them in the scoring area then the defense opens up for Tyler Allgeier to saunter on to the goal line through the heart of the field for 13 yards. The running back finishes it off for a one-yard touchdown of his own. Advantage Atlanta.
