🔗 Share this article The First Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Demonstrate Xbox Is Still Fighting. Across the gaming landscape, commentators persist in tolling the death bells for the Xbox brand. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a lesser-known competitor. Dedicated Xbox communities have started writing on PS5 topics as a new development. The past year represented complete chaos for Xbox and Microsoft. But if we're going solely off the upcoming Game Pass lineup in 2026, it's evident that Xbox remains determined to engage players with quality releases on its flagship service. The Immediate Additions The two games currently accessible today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass soon that's deserving of attention. Major Titles on the Horizon On Jan. 13, the subscription service will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, previously described as "the perfect cocktail of frights and fights." Noteworthy Smaller Games But even the smaller games arriving shortly on the service are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that's a blast to play, arrives January 7th — and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game. The game set in a ruined Britain from last year could captivate you within just a quarter of an hour. Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by the developers behind Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about. A Solid, Curated Lineup Ultimately, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they are also not massive exclusive blockbusters that are the sole reason for the service alone. But Microsoft's additions here are exceptionally strong. There's a good mixture of past releases that passed you by and relatively recent releases that didn't get the attention they deserved the first time around — rendering them ideal prospects to experience a revival on Game Pass. Hope you're ready to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
